Ira Friedlander, a notable author and photographer was a young boy growing up in New York in the mid 1900’s. At the age of 9, he read a poem that struck at this heart. He would spend the rest of his life in an out of this world mystical journey meeting artists, poets and spiritual gurus that were descending on American soil during the hippie movements of the 1960’s and on, all while trying to search for the meaning of the poem and its origin.
